St. Croix: On July 23, 2013, in the Mt. Victory area, the body of Earl James was found inside his burned vehicle, a white Toyota Tacoma with the license plate CEQ-323. The night before, officers received a call that unknown individuals had stopped a truck similar to the one owned by Charles in the vicinity of Concordia Villas Housing Community and the Alexander Henderson Elementary School. The stopped vehicle was described as a white Toyota Tacoma driven by a black male. Tell us what you know about the people who were involved in stopping this vehicle.

St. John: VIPD continues to seek the community’s assistance in solving the homicide of James “Jim” Malfetti, who was found dead in his apartment in Chocolate Hole. A 46-inch Sanyo TV and a gray iPhone 5S were stolen from his home. Please tell us what you know about this murder or of anyone selling a similar TV or iPhone.

St. Thomas: On Feb. 12 at 9:30 p.m., a man was robbed at gunpoint in front of his residence in the area of Estate Elizabeth. The man stated that the robber took $3,000 in cash from his pocket and then shot him in his lower body. Help police identify and arrest the shooter.

The minimum reward for the arrest of a robber is $900. For a homicide suspect it is $1,500 plus 10 percent of the value of property recovered. Crime Stoppers’ maximum reward is $2,500.
