Ralph E. Delemos The family of Ralph E. Delemos is saddened to announce his passing on Feb. 16.
He survived by his children: Lilla D Canton, Linda D. Petersen, Ivette, Miguelina”Niomie”, Roy, Gary, Steve and Miguel Delemos, and Roma S. EsteMcDonald; grandchildren: O’Neil “Nee-J” and Lailoni “Nia” Canton, Amandi C.Petersen, Roy, David and Daniel Cruz, Cristine Cruz-Thomas, Alyssa, Loren, Tanya, Gary II, Tyler and Mia Delemos, Natasha Joshua, Nyeeisha, Ishmael, Nisha and Nyka Brathwaite, Shenel Moorhead and Romal EsteMcDonald; brothers: Miles and Franz Delemos; and nieces: Yvette D. Robinson, Kharmia Powell, Kimberly Hester, Cheryl and Kim Delemos, Claire L. Roker, Juanita Gatison, Lorelie Esannason, Leila Muller and Norma Mason.
He is also survived by nephews: Keith, Byron, Mark and Franz E. Delemos, Wilbert, Ralph and Clyde Dennis, and Kenneth Cooper Jr.; daughters-in-law: Glenis and Benita Delemos; sisters-in-law: Georgie and Valerie Delemos; brother-in-law, Dale Cooper; godchildren: Bernard Brown, Amos Peters Jr., Keila Vanterpool, Nia Hinds Roach, Edna Serrano and Chrystina Clendenen; and special friends: Ivan “Kung Fu” Latimer, Orinn and Gertrude Arnold, Leroy Arnold, Olric and Winifred Carrington, Amos and Marian Peters, Orlando Peters, Alton Krigger, Norris and Rita Harris, Gloria Davis, Leroy and Joan Henley, Agatha D. Canton and Marion Brooks.
Other survivors include special friends: Delores English-Edwards, Vincent Doward, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Lambert, the Harris, Seales, and Richards family, the West End Travel Club, Crusaders Fraternity Inc., Caribbean Light Lodge No. 101 and Lion’s Club; special thanks: Ozelia “Kathy” Arnold, Angela Christian, staff and the seniors at Richmond Senior Center, Rochelle Gomez, Shakura St. Louis, Chrystina Clendenen, Shana and the staff at Continuum Care, Dr. Angel Lake and Dr. Kendall Griffith; 24 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing held at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 24, at Freidensberg Moravian Church, New Street, Frederiksted. Interment will be at the Frederiksted Cemetery.
