Step up and be part of the solution. Help make sure that, in the US Virgin Islands, no crime goes unsolved. If you know something, say something.

St. Croix: Burglaries increase as schools close for the summer. And as families go off-island for their vacations, hard-working residents may become victims of burglaries and break-ins. Report any suspicious activity. It is a known fact that police catch burglars when people call 911.

St. Thomas: On June 10 at 2:30 a.m. a female caught a ride from an unknown black male in an area unknown to her. The woman was taken to a beach where she was raped by the driver. The victim stated no weapon was used.

St. John: Police responded to reports of shots fired around 5:15 p.m. on June 9. This incident took place in the Coral Bay area of Cases by the Sea and Island Blues. A male was shot and transported to the Clinic. Please tell police what you know about this incident.

Make a difference. Make the call. Make your neighborhood a safer community. Tell us what you know about these, or any other crimes, at www.CrimeStoppersUSVI.org or by calling 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). You can also text “USVI” plus your message to CRIMES (274637).

If your tip leads to an arrest or the recovery of stolen property, illegal drugs or weapons, you will receive a cash reward to be paid according to your instructions.
