Two men, one brandishing a weapon, entered the Bank of St. Croix in Estate Peter’s Rest on Tuesday morning and took an undetermined amount of cash before fleeing the bank, according to the V.I. Police Department.

No one was injured.

The police said they are following all leads and urged the public to report any information they may have about this case or any other open cases in the Virgin Islands.

  1. First of all… this is the second time in less than a month that my bank has been robbed… any arrests? According to stats in the states 80% of bank robbers get arrested… what gives? Now my beef is obviously with the STX police (solve a crime) but also with the Source. Is this the extent of your report. Any quotes from police, bank employees? Any description of suspects? their vehicle? Stats on previous bank robberies? etc. As a 30-year journalist in Florida I am really disappointed in your efforts.
