Marion Cecelia Quinn-Allick of Marley Homes died on Oct. 18. She was 87 years old.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Hyacinth Bastian and Joseph Quinn; and grandchildren: Malik and Jamal.
She is survived by her daughters: Norma Allick, Etla Sargeant, Carol A. George, Ernestine Allick, LaVerne Dowling, Paulette and Yvette Benjamin; sons: Warren Allick, Anthony Allick, Herman Allick and Floyd Michael Sr.; and grandchildren: Diane, Merle, Claire, Pamela, Shania, Denise, Monique, Stephen, Julie, Kai, Ray, Risa, Malcolm, Anthony Jr., Anisha, Kittisha, Kendall, Anushica, Joy, Kareem, Kamal, Aimara, Kenneth, Marion, Karisma, Jasheema, Dewayne, Danica, Deray, Daniqua, Janeil, Kaleem, Tajani, Darnell, Shemeka and Floyd Jr.
She is also survived by godchildren: David Fawkes and Mirle Gillard; special friends: Belinda Elcock, Marion Bartley, Anita Bess, Marilyn Christian, Corlina Collins, Elisa Powell, Thelma Springer, Alvin Milligan, Norman Bailey, O’Delia Nesbitt, Keturah Roberts, the Headstart family, and Janet and Douglas Williams; cousin and other relatives: the Brow family, the Christian family, the Bastian family, the Lewis family, the Byron family, the Johnson family and the Watts family; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will take place at 9 a.m. and a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 30, at the Friedensberg Moravian Church. Interment will follow at Frederiksted Cemetery.
