Denise E. Walcott of Estate New Castle Coakley died on Nov. 26. She was 58 years old.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Claudia C. Walcott; father, Hezekiah O. Walcott; sister, LaVerne S. Walcott-Smith; brother, Kenny L. Walcott Sr.; and brother-in-law, MG Jean A. Romney.
She is survived by her sisters: Beverly C-Walcott-Romney and Diane E. Walcott-Rivera; brothers: Elmer O. Walcott, Lawrence A. Walcott Sr. and Kurt A. Walcott Sr.; nieces: Dona Walcott, Dawn Walcott-Varner, Jurenne Walcott, Danielle Walcott, Ayanna Romney, Chivonne Romney-Lee, Erika Smith-Gumbs, Keisha Smith, Dana Smith, Chamoni Walcott-Weekes, Arainna Walcott, Kenya Walcott-Ayala, Tyanne Jacobs-El, Arianne Walcott, Krystal Rivera, Chantal Rivera and Lanique Rivera; and nephews: Dean Walcott, Gary Walcott, Lawrence Walcott Jr., Kenny Walcott, Michael Walcott, Akido Walcott, Keno Walcott, Kenny Walcott Jr., Kurt Walcott Jr. and Kiahn Rivera.
She is also survived by brother-in-law, MG Renaldo Rivera; sisters-in-law: Aracelis Bermudez Walcott, Rosemary Walcott, Willie Mae Walcott and Rita Walcott; godparents: Lionel and Beatrice Emanuel; special friends: Barbara Slater Brown, Lynelle Emanuel, Eleuteria Emanuel, Marie Christian, Ostend and Louise Hanson, Mary David, Miriam Estick, St. George (Jerome) Smith, Christinita Thomas and Kaila Estien (caregiver); cousins: the Petersen family, the James family, the Walcott family, the Henry family, the Grubb family and Steven Brown; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will take place at 9 a.m. and a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 12, at Lord God of Saboath Lutheran Church. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
