Ralph Percival Johnson, also known as “Percy” and “Mr. PJ,” of Estate Whim, Frederiksted, died Sunday, Dec. 14. He was 77 years old.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Martina C. Naughton-Johnson; father, Ralph P. Johnson Sr.; grandparents: William Naughton and Rebecca Petersen-Naughton, Thomas Johnson and Estella Edwards; brother, Thomas A. Johnson,Sr.; sisters: Elacia Johnson-Bastian and Rosalia Wilson; daughter, Sherry D. Johnson; grandchildren: Kendall Petersen II and Alphonso James; nieces and nephews: Levi Wilson, Naomi Wilson, Genevieve Haskins, Delores Preston, Wilfred Wilson and Donald Thomas: and brother-in-law, Henry Bastian.
He is survived by his spouse, Eleanor D. Krigger-Johnson; sons: Larry Alphonso Johnson and Kirby Anthony Johnson; daughters: Eloise Johnson-Benjamin, Deborah C. Johnson, Dinah Johnson-Wright, Beverly Johnson-Thomas, Yvette M. Johnson, Sedricka Johnson-Brathwaite and Sharmaine Johnson-Valentine; grandchildren: Naeem Johnson Sr., Leshell Liebert, Akil Johnson, Jenell Liebert, Jamila Johnson-Lettsome, Shenel Liebert, Gregory Leonard, Nilah Parris, Howard E. Peters, Roy Canton Jr., Ronelle L. Parris, Roshaun Valentine, Di’Mequia Wright, Khalani Valentine, Jackie Wright, Samaria Valentine, Tyriq Valentine, Kenyshwa Petersen, Kadence Johnson, Frank Melkezedek Petersen, Mikael Petersen, Amenhotep Petersen and Casine James;

A viewing at 9:30 a.m. will be followed by a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 31, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
