The GESC Health Insurance Board of Trustees advises retirees who are primary members over age 65 or who have dependents also over age 65 that they should have received a very important letter in the mail from the Group Health Insurance office. This correspondence specifically addresses the arrangement of payments for retirees who selected the Plan F option of coverage offered by the Government of the Virgin Islands through United Healthcare.
The selection of the Plan F option meant that members agreed to the upgraded plan and the additional costs associated with this plan. The GESC Board has required that these additional costs be paid in full by March 31, 2015.
Members are asked to call the Group Health Insurance Offices at 714-5000 in the St. Thomas-St. John District or 718-8588 in the St. Croix District for more information. Members are also invited to visit the Division of Personnel office locations in the GERS Complex, located on the 3rd floor on St. Thomas or at 3009 Orange Grove, Suite 6 on St. Croix.
