Pistarckle Theater has scheduled actors’ auditions, a fundraiser and a new playwrights’ festival.

Actor Auditions
Pistarckle Theater will hold auditions for its upcoming play, “A Steady Rain.” It is looking for two adult male actors (age/race-open) for the roles of Joey and Denny.
A true actor’s play, “A Steady Rain” by Keith Huff is an exhilarating duologue filled with sharp storytelling and biting repartee about two Chicago cops, Joey and Denny, who have been friends since kindergarten. When they take the law into their own hands, their friendship, trust and loyalty are put on the line.

New Playwrights Festival
May 2015
Pistarckle Theater will host a New Playwrights Festival and is looking for playwrights ages 16 and up to submit new plays that have not been previously produced or staged to be presented at the festival in May. Pistarckle is seeking to showcase new playwrights in the community. They may submit a one act to full length play. The deadline for submissions is Feb. 20. Be sure to include contact information (e-mail or phone number) so that you can be notified if the play has been selected for inclusion in the festival.
