VOLUNTEERS PRAISED FOR PICKING UP TRASH

0

St. John administrator Julien A. Harley has publicly thanked six individuals who have been volunteering their services to pick up trash on the island since Aug. 26.
"The professional attitude demonstrated by these men has translated into a consistently clean and attractive area — a look that we have not seen in several months," Harley said in a release.
Harley cited "Mr. Moorehead and Mr. Sealey" for working as sanitation truck drivers "even though it is out of their classification." He said the two have been assisted by Joseph Challenger, Ralph Titre and Davon R. Miller, and that on weekends further assistance has been provided by Charles Alexander, a former Public Works Department employee.
