Friends of Patricia Lee are invited to gather for a memorial in honor of Lee , who passed away August 20, 1999.
The memorial will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, October 17, at 1:00 p.m. at Fairchild Park. The park was chosen for the informal ceremony because it was one of her favorite places. In celebration of her life, those who wish to are encouraged to share their memories of Lee.
A resident of St. Thomas since the 1970s, in recent years Lee owned and operated the Camille Pissarro Gallery in downtown Charlotte Amalie. She devoted much of her energy to informing locals and tourists alike about the Father of Impressionism, who was born in the building which bears his name.
At a later date, in accordance with her wishes, Lee’s ashes will be scattered in Pillsbury Sound.
