PEOPLE MUST BE MORE INVOLVED IN SOLUTIONS

0

Dear Source,
I also was moved by Mr. Schneiger's article "Pessimism: The Greatest Danger." He gave me insights into something we all should pay attention to. This is, the will of the people must be voiced in other ways besides (or in addition to) the government.
Mind you, the government is not our enemy. But we must be more involved in finding solutions. It will take the business sector, non-profit agencies, and religious and civic groups to define the problems, then tackle them one by one.
Because of these actions, a sense of accomplishment will be achieved. This is key. Accomplishment is the greatest motivator.
I would like add that we must have our own constitution, not an outdated Organic Act. Not only must we define ourselves and create our future, but the federal government and the world must understand who we are.
Thank you.
