Locals Targeted for Meeting on Coral Bay's Future

0

June 24, 2004 – Coral Bay residents are invited to a grassroots meeting about Coral Bay's future set for 10 a.m. Saturday at the Flamingo Restaurant on the East End Road.
Guy Benjamin, who with the Rev. Ray Joseph is organizing the event, described it as a collaborative effort with the Coral Bay Community Council.
While the Community Council claims 160 members, Benjamin said, the local West Indian community is not well represented. He said he's hoping Saturday meeting will encourage more of its members to get involved.
"I'm trying to get some of my people to come in," he said.
