Nov. 13, 2004 — Elias Henry, also known as ''Safari" of Lavallee Village, passed away Monday Nov. 8, at Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital. Henry was 63.
He is survived by his wife, Augustina Henry; daughters, Elizabeth T. Henry-Martinez and Michelle M. Henry-Barnes; grandchildren, Daniel and Derick Liburd, Jahshawn Barnes and Ida Martinez; brother, James, Ezikel; nieces, Shirlene Henry and Janice Wilson; nephews: Ezikel I, Ezikel II, and Steaven Henry; sisters-in-law, Bernice Cornelius Alexander, Bernadeth Cornelius Charles, Ismeralda, Silvia, Lulita, Anna, Aganara, Sabrate and Mesadis Cornelius; brothers-in-law, Robert Joseph, Warren, Richard, Dennis and Oliver Cornelius; sons-in-law, David Barnes and Lewis Martinez; niece-in-law, Christian Smith, Debbie Richars, Margie Williams, Melba Williams, Delta Harris, Erma David, Elenor Smith, Lora Acoy, Barbara Acoy, Correen Jackson, Sheron Jackson, Deserie Charles, Akitha Williams and Shakiema Roberts; nephews-in-law, Doughlas Pumpay, Larry, Winston and Roy Williams, Richard Cornelius, Clifton Richards, Aron Buntin, Shawn Sobrate and Hermon Jackson; close friends and family, Melroy James, Ofelio, Velma Cruz, Louis Encarnacion, Cintia Drumand, Ellen Schujster, Henry Schuster, Hubert Acoy, Launtz Acoy, Freddy Jackson, Piky Coakman, Francis Family, Johanes Family, Smith Family, Renold and Lizly Phillip, Huwitt Family, and the Adventist Family; family in St. Thomas, The Blydens, Frazor, Crabb, Frett, many in the B.V.I., and close friends and family too numerous to mention.
Henry was preceded in death by his brother, John Henry.
Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 18 at Hope Seventh Day Adventist Church, with a viewing at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Kingshill Cemetery. Professional arrangements are entrusted to James Memorial Funeral Home.
