Feb. 10, 2005 – The Virgin Islands Carnival Committee will hold the annual Carnival season kick-off conference at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 15, from their offices on Lower Kronprindsens Gade.
The conference will be aired live on WVWI Radio One AM 1000. Included on the agenda will be discussion of the Carnival schedule of events and the organization's finances.

In other carnival news, applications for the Junior Calypsonian, Toddlers Derby and Best Dressed-As-A-Doll events are now available. Applications may be picked up at the Committee's office.
The Junior Calypsonian application deadline is Friday, Feb. 18 at 5 p.m.
Additionally, there will be a mandatory meeting for all persons interested in participating in the Junior Calypso Competition on Saturday, February 19th at the Winston Raymo Center at 1:00 p.m.
