Diane Kreiner's 10th Annual Art Show

0

April 14, 2005 – The Kilnworks Pottery & Art Gallery invites the public to Diane Kreiner's 10th annual Art Show,"Paintings and Pina Coladas," which opened on April 3, and runs through May 8.
For over 30 years Diane has been capturing local life on St. Thomas in her original oil and watercolor paintings. She is unsurpassed in her ability to capture the smiles of island children and the excitement of the market place. Look at any of her paintings and you will feel that you have stepped into a moment in time – whether it is one of her vibrant market place scenes, Food Fair days, or just a quiet street scene with a couple of ladies stopping to chat.
Diane continues to paint the island and the island people that she loves.
"Seventy five percent of my work is people," Kreiner said. "I really enjoy
drawing and painting people, normal people. " And paint people she does! Many of Diane's market and street scene paintings have dozens of people in them each one with distinctive personality.
This new show will feature original paintings Diane has done during the past year, as well as a limited selection of her museum-quality reproductions, available only at The Kilnworks Pottery & Art Gallery.
Kreiner's show will continue through Mother's Day and her work is
always available at The Kilnworks Pottery & Art Gallery. The Kilnworks is open daily 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sundays noon to 4 p.m. The gallery is located on Rt 38, Emile "Milo" Francis Drive. For further information please call The Kilnworks at 775-3979.
