Aug. 30, 2005 – The St. Thomas District Democratic Party, Mortar and Pestle, New Generation, New Direction and the Tutu Democratic Club will be hosting the 3rd annual Labor Day picnic at John Brewers Bay Beach, Monday, Sept. 5, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Food and drinks will be on sale.
This year's picnic will feature music by "The Times Band" as well as a mini calypso show featuring "King Mudada," "King Ras Regg," and the "Mighty Down Spout." The mini calypso is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. In addition, free hot dogs, hamburgers and pencils will be given to kids.
