Veterans Day 5K/V.I. Cross-Country Championship Held
The Annual Veterans Day 5K/Virgin Islands Cross-Country Championships will be held on Friday, Nov. 11, at 4 p.m., at the University of the Virgin Islands St. Croix Campus. Male and female runners of all ages are invited to participate in this annual competition.
The elementary school runners will run 1-mile, the JV runners, 2 miles, and the high school and open runners, the 5 kilometer (3.1 mile) distances. Runners from throughout the territory will compete, and winning runners will decide the V.I. championships in each category.
