CCT Presents Rock Opera for Three Weekends
"Jesus Christ Superstar," written by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice, opens on Friday, Feb. 3. The Caribbean Community Theatre (CCT) will present the musical on Friday and Saturday evenings for three weekends, from Feb. 3 through Feb. 18, with curtain time at 8 p.m. There will be a Sunday matinee on Feb. 12, at 4 p.m. All shows are held at the new CCT Theater at No. 18 Estate Orange Grove, Christiansted, St. Croix. Theatergoers should arrive early for best seating, as reservations will not be taken for this production.
Ticket prices are $15 for adults and $8 for students. CCT also offers a special discount for church groups on a first come, first served basis: $12 per ticket if at least 20 tickets are purchased in advance. You can call the theatre at 778-1983 or fax 773-3650.
