June 20, 2006 — Christobel Adella Beatrice Simmonds died June 3, 2006, following a long illness.
She was born on May 30, 1927 in St. John, Antigua and spent 40 years on St. Croix.
She was predeceased after seventeen years of marriage by her husband Lionel Simmonds.
She is survived by her four children: Jennifer Harris Matthew, Winston Harris, Ernestine Harris, and Angela Harris Browne. Simmonds was also a grandmother to seven: Omei and Nana Harris, Ostomy and Osett Matthew, Adrienne Robinson and Amberky Lynch, and Owen Brow Jr.
She leaves a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and sons-in-law, other relatives and friends too numerous to mention. All are heirs to her heritage of Christian faith, hardwork, and love.
She will be greatly missed here on earth, but surely we will reunite with her again in Glory. (2 Corinthians 5:8)
