Nov. 10, 2008 – The Virgin Islands Department of Agriculture informs the farming community and the general public of the closure of the St. Thomas Abattoir on Tuesday, Nov. 11, due to the Veterans Day holiday. The facility will accept and slaughter animals on Wednesday, Nov. 12.
