Small business owners will be able to ask questions about tax law changes, mistakes to avoid and tax savings tips, as well as receive key input on year-end tax planning and steps they can take to reduce their 2008 tax bills. The Web Chat will take place at 1 p.m., ET, Wednesday, Dec. 10. Ochsenschlager will answer questions for one hour. Participants can join the live chat by going online to www.sba.gov, and clicking "Online Business Chat."
Vice President of Taxation Thomas P. Ochsenschlager of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) will host the SBA's December Web chat on the topic "Getting Your Small Business Ready for Tax Season." Participants can chat online and ask questions on how to prepare now for the coming tax season.
The chat series provides small business owners with an opportunity to discuss relevant business issues online with experts, industry leaders and successful entrepreneurs. Chat participants will have direct, real-time access to the chats via questions they submit online in advance and during the live session, with instant answers.
Participants may post questions for Ochsenschlager before Dec. 10 by visiting http://app1.sba.gov/livemeeting/dec08/ and posting their questions online.
