Mary M. Godett, also known as "Aunt Mary” or “Sally," of Herbert Grigg Home for the Aged died on July 30. She was 94 years old.
She is survived by her daughters: Sarah Lindo and Catherine Farrell; grandchild, Yvette Irish; sister: Bernice Warrick; brothers: Joseph and Peter Irish; niece, Thelma Christopher; nephew, Fitzgerald Irish; great nieces; Lorelle Irish, Deborah Irish, Theresa Drigo, Kimberly and Oresha Christopher; great nephews: Donald Liburd Jr. and Kenneth Christopher; nephew-in-law, Philmore Christopher; special friends: Melvina Albert, Carol Battuello and the Herbert Grigg Home for the Aged administration and staff; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will take place at 9:30 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 27, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
