Undercover Books Hosts Children’s Book Author Steve Swinburne

Children’s book author Steve Swinburne will appear and sign copies of his books from 5-6:30 p.m. on Feb. 24, at Undercover Books & Gifts, Gallows Bay, St. Croix. He has written dozens of books, many of them fun books about nature. Swinburne, best known for his entertaining and creative style, is on St. Croix conducting research for his next book, which will be about sea turtles. He will be also putting in appearances in many of the local schools. Some of the books that will be available at the signing are as follows:

Kids of all ages will be attracted to Steve’s books.
Steve Swinburne was born in London, England. When he was eight, he left England with his family and sailed on the Queen Elizabeth to New York City. He holds bachelor’s of arts degrees in biology and English from Castleton State College, Vt. He has worked as a ranger in a number of national parks and loves to travel and observe nature and wildlife. A safari in Africa, hiking in Scotland, monitoring sea turtles on a Georgia island, a winter trek through Yellowstone and watching shorebirds in New York have all led to book projects.
He n now lives in South Londonderry, Vermont, with his wife Heather, and daughters Hayley and Devon.
His photography has appeared in magazines such as Country Journal, Vermont Life, Garden Design, Family Fun and Highlights for Children.
