Sen. Terrence "Positive" Nelson is inviting the public to a commemorative ceremony in honor of the late Gov. Cyril E. King’s 90th birthday 10 a.m. Thursday at Kingshill Cemetery. The gathering will be at the Cyril E. King Mausoleum.

"We are gathering to acknowledge the contributions and life of our dearly departed brother and most honorable governor of the Virgin Islands, His Excellency Cyril Emmanuel King," Nelson said in a statement.

"Although Governor King’s death occurred midway through his tenure, his legacy of caring, responsive and efficient government lives on," said Nelson.
