Jacob Emanuel Garvey, also known as “Prince,” of Williams Delight died on June 4 at the Jackson Memorial Hospital. He was 79 years old. He is survived by his daughter, Alicia Garvey; sons: Chris Garvey, Rodger Hector, Euclin Garvey, Robelto Garvey, Elvin Garvey, Mervin Garvey and Ervin Garvey; grandchildren: Natoree Garvey, Angel Gautier, Rolando Gautier Jr., Reminton Gautier, Diquan Richards and Renee Stevens; daughter-in-law, Rachell Matthew; son-in-law: Remy The Welder; sisters: Grace Ann Knight, Iona Roach, Edna Edmeade and Ideta Bethel; nieces: Pamela Depusoir, Lorraine Poleon and Violette Roach; nephews: Leroy Samuel, Kenneth Samuel, Tregenza Roach and Ian Roach; special friends: John Freeman and Church members, and Norman Stanley; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will take place at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 17, at the Faith of Christ Ministries Church. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
