“Education: Everyone’s Responsibility” is the St. Croix school district’s latest outreach program designed to help meet the educational needs of students, parents and the entire Virgin Islands community. The educational outreach program is a talk show scheduled to launch on March 10, and broadcast every Saturday from 9-10 a.m. on Radio Station 107.9 FM – Da Vybes.
“The weekly talk show will focus on the importance of educating everyone on today’s educational and societal challenges, while providing a forum for administrators, teachers, parents and students to share ongoing school programs and activities with the community,” said Janet Brow, St. Croix District School Community Relations director.
The show will feature noted educators, announce school and community-related information and will provide tips on selected topics, including parenting, reading and homework. This week’s show will feature St. Croix District Leadership Team and members of the St. Croix Reading Council.
To participate in the show, hosted by Zoraida Jacobs, persons may call 779-1079 or 713-1079 or on the Internet at www.davybe.com.
