Charles A. Jones, better known as "Luis” or “Taylor," died on Dec. 4.
He is survived by his son, Nelson Jones; daughter, Cessarina Correa de Jones; stepson, Luis A. “Tito” Morales; brother, Wilmoth Jones; sister, Venice Jones Thomas; grandchildren: Elizabeth Morales, Deidra Morales, Annette Morales Jordan, Dianne Morales, Anaramis Morales, Vanessa Correa de Jones, Cathy Correa de Jones and Manuel Correa de Jones; special great grandson, Desmond Conner; adopted niece, Gracia “Mary” Jimenez Ortiz; 16 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and a host of other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A first viewing will be held from 4-6 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 16, at Turnbull’s Funeral Home. A second viewing will be held at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 17, at Memorial Moravian Church. Interment will be at Memorial Moravian Cemetery.
