Bruce Tutein, also known as "Ish," of Hospital Street, Christiansted, died on Thursday, Jan. 10, at Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital.
He is survived by his sister-in-law, Esther Tutein (NYC); nieces: Myrtle Dunbavain, Eugenie Tutein, Janice Tutein, Cheryl Tutein (NYC), Ellen Catizone (NH) and Jacquiline Schuster (NH); nephews: Willard Tutein, Clinton Tutein, Kenneth Tutein (NYC), Steven Tutein (NYC) and Robert Tutein; great nieces: Tisha Tutein (Md.) and Angela Catizone (NH); great nephews: Chester Benjamin and Heartsille Benjamin Jr.; special friends: Halvor Hansen Sr. and family, Walter Gerard, Roberto Encarnacion, John Degrasse, Henry Christian, Ohenio Martin, Delroy Christian and the De Gallows crew; cousins: Fritz Tutein, Vargrave Tutein, Robert Tutein, Joel Tutein, Preston Tutein, John Tutein, Roslind Moolenaar, Roland Moolenaar Sr. and family and Lorraine Wenner; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will be held at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 23, at Kingshill Memorial Funeral Chapel. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery, Veterans Section.
