Erin Carmel Parsons died on Aug. 29 on St. John. She was 79 years old.
She is survived by her husband, Vernon C. Parsons; daughters: Moliere Maynard and Debbie Maynard; stepdaughters: Jessien Leffers, Donna Mitchell and Jacquelyn Brown; grandchildren: Melissa Sanders and Michelle Charles; brothers: James Maynard and Hugh Thomas; sisters: Cynthia Dore, Marjorie Morton and Janet Maynard; brothers-in-law: Wendell Parsons and sons, Wayne and Jerry Parsons and daughter, and Vendell Parsons; sisters-in-law: Vashti Boynes, Leona Escalera and children, Ashley Boynes, and Bernice Pearson and their children; and nieces: Ingrid, Mellocynth, Marguerite, Paula, Jacqué, Julene, Nicole, Alvenese, Hulecia, Kai, Alejah and Hayla.
She is also survived by nephews: Victor Jr., Trevor, Brian, Dennis, Adriel, Abari, Kwesi, Amaad, Steven, Stephen, Samuel and Israel; cousins: Norma, Gloria, Valerie, Veronica, Gervaisé, John, Janice, Clement Friday, Hyacinth, Jacinth, Jansen, Lucien, Marilyn, Perlie, Marjorie, Melvourne, Margery, Gertie and Rolston; godchildren: Ahnna Ward, Arlington Tyrell Jr. and Elisa Williams; special friends: Sivilah Williams and family, the Hill family, Muriel Manners, Angela Hanley, Victoria Walwyn, Walter Springette and family, Charles Walters and family, Doreen, Marlene and Rita Liburd, Alecia Wells, and many other dear relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 7, at St. Ursula’s Episcopal Church. Interment will follow at Bath Cemetery in Nevis.
