Lyra Elvira Collazo died on Aug. 29 on St. Thomas. She was 95 years old.
She is survived by her great niece and caregiver, Sheryl John; sister, Crystalia Akins Scarborough; niece, Sylvia Sewer Barry; great nieces and nephews: Emile Daniel, Keith Daniel, Lydia Daniel, Anette Barry, Christine Daniel, Jamel Price, Carlene Hodge, Iasia John; and many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
