Andrea Walcott, also known as "Mama," of Estate Strawberry Hill died on Nov. 23 at the Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital and Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Carol Walcott.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Kenneth Walcott; daughters: Kathleen Walcott, Esther Joseph, Helen Blackman and Sylvia James: sons: Carlisle Walcott and Carl Walcott; grandchildren: Cusa Holloway, Imtiaz and Yaasmiyn Ali, Onica and Kenneth Walcott, Andrea Walcott, Kai, Kaira and Kaila Joseph, Cory, Mosa and Penny James, Omari and Halima Blackman, and Joshua and Antonia Walcott; great-grandchildren: Chelsey Holloway, Tyler Alexis, Jaheem, Jahsheba, Jahshanti and Jahsmiyn Ali, and Julian McIntyre and Akil Frederick; adopted daughters: Theresa Brown Brady, and Kenesa Brady and Sandra Williams; niece, Patricia Ann Phillip; nephews: Gregory and Rodger Johnson; daughters-in-law: Queen Walcott and Cheryl Walcott; sons-in-law: Daun Joseph and Cecil Blackman; granddaughter-in-law, Linda Ali; sister-in-law, Marjorie Johnson; special friends: Joyce Whiskey, George family, Regis family, Lena Charles, Suzie Morton, Norma Barnes, Megahy family, Rev. Richard and Mary Abbott, Jennifer Chancellor, Straker family, Williams family and Janice Schrader; cousin, Germaine Fletcher; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will be held at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 4, at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, Sion Farm. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
