Endangered Culture Essay Contest Winner Chosen

Raeniqua Victorine, a 10th grader attending the Charlotte Amalie High School, wins Endangered Culture Essay Contest.Cultural Conquest Association Inc. (CCA) is a newly founded non-profit organization with a mission to give back to the community. One of its priorities is keeping the local culture alive by reigniting the fire of Virgin Islands pride, and creating an exhilarating and educational experience.
CCA hosted an endangered culture essay contest, which ran from Oct. 1 to Nov. 30. The winner was Raeniqua Victorine, a 10th grader attending the Charlotte Amalie High School. She was awarded a 7” tablet with surround sound speakers.
The endangered culture essay contest was the final contest of the year for CCA. It will begin its 2014 cultural contests right after the Cruzian Carnival 61st celebrations. Cultural Conquest Association encourages everyone to frequent its Facebook page for updates and giveaways. It thanks everyone who supported its cultural contest fund and looks forward to working with the community to continue efforts “preserving our culture one experience at a time.”
