Ishmael Curtis Bough Dies

Ishmael Curtis Bough Ishmael Curtis Bough of Estate Whim went quietly home to his mansion in the sky on Tuesday, April 1, surrounded by family and close friends. He was born to his parents Bernadin Bough and Octavia Viola White (both deceased) on Jan. 31, 1929, in Christiansted, St. Croix. He resided in both Christiansted and Frederiksted, and attended St. Patrick’s Catholic School. He retired from the Government of the Virgin Islands as the chief deputy clerk of the territorial court.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, parents and brother, Darwin Dennis.
He leaves to mourn his daughter, Ingrid A. Bough J.D.; brother, Fenris V. White; sister, Delores Bough (N.Y.); nephew, Fitzroy Dennis; niece, Shelly Bough-Dewese; special cousins: Earl Charles Sr., wife Phyllis Charles and family; special friends: Eugene McBean, Violette Matthew-Chapman, Jose A. Belardo, Eleanor Murphy, Charrene Gregoire and Renee Blakey; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
Special thanks to: Oneca Glasgow C.N.A., the staff of Governor Juan Luis Hospital and Medical Center, and all of the RN’s, EMT’s in ER, PCU and Medical Department., Dr. Angel Lake, Dr. Kendall Griffith, Dr. Dante Galiber, Dr. Charles Perez, Dr. Ian Cook, the staff of SeaView on St. Croix and SeaView Rehabilitation on St. Thomas, Wheelcoach Inc. and the staff of Continuum Care (hospice).
There will be a viewing held at 9:30 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 10, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
