St. Croix: Police officers were dispatched to a call of shots fired in a home in Estate Glynn. Upon arrival, they found the lifeless bodies of a young woman and a child who had been shot. The mother, 27-year-old Kayna Lawrence, and her 7-year-old son, Devontae Charles, died as a result of these injuries. If you saw a suspicious person or vehicle, or anything unusual, that you hadn’t seen before near their home, your help just might be that piece of the puzzle to solve this tragic crime.

St. Thomas: On July 11 at 9:30 a.m., a woman received a phone call from a stranger claiming to be one of her friends. The caller informed her that he was ill and had been airlifted to a hospital in Puerto Rico. He said he had no money and needed to call his family and convinced her to purchase several Go Phone refill cards in excess of $100. It turns out this was a scam. St. John: On July 18 about 10:25 a.m., police received a call regarding a burglary in the Estate Carolina area. The burglary was estimated to have occurred between 5:30 and 9 a. m. According to the complainant, a window screen was cut and several items stolen: a Dell laptop, gold ring, gold watch, porcelain earrings, a Belkins modem and a Panasonic cordless phone.
