The V.I. Police Department announced Wednesday that it has found missing 9-year-old Tenaji Wheatley, who had been missing since Tuesday.

According to the police, an individual called detectives to report the child’s location.The announcement, which was issued at about 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, did not provide any other details about where the boy was or how police located him.

Tenaji Wheatley was reported missing from a home in Estate Fortuna on St. Thomas at about 11 a.m. Tuesday.
