JG Center of Excellence Holds Contest: “Dress a Girl & Boy” for the Prom

The JG Center of Excellence, a non-profit organization of JG Management USVI, is currently holding the first “Dress a Girl & Boy” Contest for St. Croix Central High School Senior Prom 2015. A lucky girl and boy will win a full make over to attend their senior prom. This full make over includes: for the girl: dress, shoes, make-up artist, hair stylist, accessories and a corsage; for the boy: suit, shoes, haircut, accessories and a boutonniere. All finalists will receive free fashion consultation. The contest rules follow.
 Participants must have a 3.0 GPA or above.
 Must attend prom
 Must be of good moral character
 No disciplinary actions
 Complete a student information form
 Submit a one page essay typed entitled “Why I Should Be Chosen”
 Submit a letter of recommendation
 Submit a headshot and full length photo
All contestants must submit the required information to Ms. Benjamin-Matthews at St. Croix Central High School or e-mail Jason Gardener at [email protected] by Monday, March 2. When asked what inspired this contest, founder and CEO Jason Gardener said, “Central High was very good to me, so this is just one of the ways I will be giving back to my alma mater. Our goal is to make students feel extra special on one of the most important time of their lives and to let them know that there are people out there who cares for them besides family and friends. We hope that we can make this an annual event and help more than one girl and boy.” Gardener is a 1992 graduate of St. Croix Central High School.
JG Management USVI LLC focuses on scouting males and females ages five and up with or without experience in modeling. The JG Center of Excellence Inc. offers training, development and placement for models, actors, singers and dancers worldwide. In 2014, JG held the first annual V.I. Model of the Year (VIMY) competition that featured models in various categories, giving them a chance to win contracts with top modeling agencies.
