Bilingual Education Does Not Require Spanish

0

Some of these Spanish-speaking students do not necessarily need a teacher from a Spanish speaking country in order to learn English. English speaking teachers can be adequately trained to teach students of other languages. The main objective is for these students to learn English. I am a native of St. Croix and will be receiving a Masters of Arts degree in Teaching English for Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) at the University of Central Florida. I am presently teaching students from Vietnam, five Spanish speaking countries, Haiti and the Middle East. The only language I speak is English. Educationally yours,
Molvie Simon
St. Croix/Florida
