Kalif Berry, also known as "Coco” or “Bantan," of Tide Village died on Feb. 13. He was 33 years old.
He is survived by his daughters: Wadeema, Princess-Roche and Sumyah; sons: Kadeem, Horus and Hamas; grandmother, Rafaela Berry; sisters: Anyanna Berry, Frances Benjamin, Nellissa Berry-Shillingford, Stephanie Berry and Tamika Berry; brother, Stephen Benjamin; sister-in-law, Sandra Benjamin; and brother-in-law, Omari Shillingford Sr.
He is also survived by nieces: Ebony McIntosh, J’Neisha Melendez, Naomi Shillingford, Nichelle Davis, Sydney Cornwall; nephews: Esteban Benjamin, Ezekiel McIntosh, J’Don Melendez, Jose Melendez, Marcus Davis, Nicholas and Omari Shillingford Jr.; aunts: Nelia Ferrufine and Yasmin Davila; uncles: Edward Berry, Francisco Davila Jr., Ramon Davila and Ulysses Davila; special friends: Isabie Gomez and Donna Miller; as well as his many close friends in the Caribbean and on the mainland too numerous to mention.
A funeral service will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 24, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Frederiksted Cemetery.
