The University of the Virgin Islands – Community Engagement and Lifelong Learning (UVICELL) Center will be offering a course for individuals interested in brushing up on their bookkeeping skills. The course will provide a better understanding of the financial operations of a business and how to monitor the progress of business financial operations. Intermediate Bookkeeping will be held 6 – 9 p.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, starting April 19. All sessions will be at the UVICELL Center in Frederiksted, St. Croix.
Participants will learn about accruals and prepayments, fixed assets and depreciation, bad and doubtful debt provisions, as well as how to post salaries, prepare trial balances and much more.
