The University of the Virgin Islands – Community Engagement and Lifelong Learning (UVICELL) Center will be offering a course for individuals interested in acquiring basic bookkeeping skills. Intro to Bookkeeping will be taught from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Mondays, April 18 and 25 and May 2. Classes will be held at the UVICELL Center on St. Thomas.
Participants will learn to perform basic bookkeeping functions such as journalizing and posting business transactions, preparing basic financial statements, reconciling bank statements, preparing payroll and much more.
