The St. Croix Central High School Class of 1987 is holding an essay contest for the class of 2012. The first place winner will receive a laptop; the second place winner will receive an American Express gift certificate for $100; and the third place winner will receive an American Express gift certificate for $50. Create a PowerPoint presentation with the title: Why is the level of crime so high in the Virgin Islands and what do I feel can be done to reduce it? Creativity is encouraged.
Contest rules: Must be a student in the 2012 class of St. Croix Central High; submit one paper copy of your presentation to Khema Loving and e-mail a copy to [email protected] by 5 p.m., May 27. Attach a cover sheet with the following information: student name, high school name and the date.
St. Croix Central High School Class of 1987 will announce the contest winners by June 9.
